My entry for the second of

's OC Tournament

I got paired with Kaiyo Hamasaki and the round setting is Boruto's train station.

Natsumi was still trying to figure out how to return to her time. She had figured out not too long after that both her and her father had been sent away from their time and landed in a different one. Thankfully the dimension seemed to still be the same.
Good news, it seems that from time to time a new portal appeared, although small it allowed them to go through it. Bad news, the portal was very unstable and it caused Natsumi to be separated from her father, she had zero clues about where he was...and where she was for that matter.

Jumping through another portal, the pink haired girl landed on something moving and she lost her balance for a moment. While trying to return to her balance, Natsumi figured out two things...one, she was standing on the top of a train and two, she wasn't alone! Apparently the portal had brought someone else. A man, she figured as he stood up, wearing a necklace with the symbol of Kirigakure imprinted on it, the girl frowned and kept her guard on...could this be the person behind the time lapse!?

Taking a few seconds to look around her, Natsumi only realized where she was when she saw in distance Konohagakure's Hokage Monument and to her happiness, there was Lord Naruto's face sculpted on it! She had made it! She had returned to her time, not to her village but that was fine!
A part of her told her to leave the man be and escape the train, head to the village and maybe find someone she knew. But another part of her told her to not let the man escape, if he was the one behind these time lapses he needed to be captured.

'This is not a job for an academy student' her father would say that but...he wasn't there to tell her that...and yep the second option ended up winning.

"Hey!!" she yelled to grab the man's attention. Kaiyo turned around to face the girl, a stoic expression in his features "Who the hell are you?!"

"Shouldn't I be the one asking that..?" the man asked

"I made the question first so answer it!"

Kaiyo rolled his eyes "Well aren't you bossy for a little girl" he crouched down "I don't have to tell anything to a kiddie like you but I shall make you pay for showing such a disrespect towards me."

Mitsuki had just finished contacting his parent once again for the usual report on the shadows possessions case and he was just about to head to his apartment when he noticed the explosion coming from the night train.
The blue haired frowned before jumping back to the head of the Hokage's monument in order to check on the explosion. Upon arriving he noticed that a battle was happening right at the top of the train, he couldn't figure who the responsibles of the battle were but he did notice how a figure was smaller than the other, a kid?
Was this another possession? He didn't wait to find out, he immediately jumped on another carriage of the train to observe better the battle. He could hear the youngest of the battlers yelling, a girl he had figured out, but she didn't sound enraged or out of control like the other possession victims, perhaps the possessed was the other person?

Mitsuki decided to investiage further.

"Give up little girl, you can't beat me and I really don't feel like killing a kid right now"

"Not until you confess!"

Kaiyo sighed "I don't know what you want me to confess, I've told you before that I don't know what you are talking about but you seem to be too stubborn to even hear me out. I guess my only choice is to knock you out."

To Mitsuki now it seemed like none of them wasn't possessed...but instead of leaving the matter be, he choose to continue his investigation and jumped between the two of them. It caught both Natsumi and Kaiyo by surprise and because of the night's darkness it was hard to figure out who it was.

"Great..another one?" Kaiyo murmured, the blue haired didn't reply and just straightened up while staring at the man

Slowly, thanks to the moonlight, Natsumi saw who the new figure was and her eyes lit up, finally someone that she knew!

"Mitsuki!" the boy reacted to call of his name and turned around to face the pink haired girl, his hair blowing at the wind's will

"I'm sorry do I know you?" he looked visibly confused but his words were like a kunai in the girl's heart, had she been that forgettable???

"U-Uh it's...it's me?? Natsumi?? You know um, t-the girl who fell on your back and you healed my ankle??"

Mitsuki tilted his head "I don't recall anyone with that name, nor such a moment you just described"

He didn't seem to be lying...but how did he not recognize her?! What was happening?! But then it hit the pink haired girl, a detail that she had failed to notice before...Mitsuki was not wearing a genin headband in his forehead...the one she knew always had it...so..this was not the Mitsuki she knew or had she landed yet AGAIN in another time period..? No, this was clearly the Konoha she recalled but this Mitsuki in front of her was not the one she knew...

"I don't have time for another kid, I need to figure out how to get out of here" Kaiyo was ready to restart the battle but suddenly his movements were restrained; Natsumi had her fingers raised, having called the chakra threads. The Kirigakure ninja was struggling to get free from the sudden force on his arms and his eyes widened when he saw Mitsuki's right arm stretching like an elastic ready to grab him...
